Is it bad that I tried to click on the button, even though I've never used a computer using the silver XP style?
As to your actual point, Christmas is just a transparent excuse for Christians to continue having mid-winter celebrations. If the guy even existed at all, all evidence we have of his birthday puts it in spring. Christmas is about the death and re-birth of the sun, not the birth of the 'son'.

My point wasn't specifically about the origins or religious nature of Christmas. Moreso just noticing all this here:
I asked for...
I asked for a...
As far as I know I have...
I'm getting a new...
I'm probably getting a new...
I got a...
niggers...
I need...
tree
trees
my...
me
Don't flame me for this, but that's all I'm seeing.
I didn't make this thread because I wanted to talk about religion.
I just wanted to know what people were doing around this time. If you wont to start a thread about Jesus then do it. Now gtfo thanks.

I'm sorry, but does nealy everything you say HAVE to be something that's bound to piss people off, offend people, or just... I dunno. Dude, you oughta smoke a joint or something. A good fap usually helps me when I'm feeling pissy.

You missed my point completely. I was talking about how Christmas has become a materialistic celebration, not as one devoid of religion - even though the second point is also equally true.
This thread can operate as before, I was merely expressing my idea.
I got a nice present sitting under the tree! I can't wait to open it too... I've been shaking it and rubbing on it, trying to figure out if it was a box or whatever... but it's got me all warm on the inside!
I'd post a pic, but my present doesn't compare much to yall's mound of gifts... but still, it means alot to me ^_^
I don't do christmas. No trees or presents for me. In fact I felt kinda liberated when I told my folks I don't need anything for christmas, birthdays, graduations, etc, provided I can get away with not giving anyone else anything either.
Sennheiser HD 650 + Pro-Ject Head Box II
Western Digital MyBook >250Gb
Hewlett Packard LP2065
Logitech Z-2300
That's all I put on my wishlist, true story.
I've got two shots at getting it all, seeing as my birthday is in december as well!
TOMORROW! OH MY LAWD!
Why on earth would you get $600 headphones, when you could get a nice pair of monitors for that, and have better audio.
They go for roughly $370 here... :S
Plus, it's not me getting them, it's other people getting them for me. That's the spirit of giving, isn't it? Other people giving you stuff?
