I have a pentium 4 with 2 GB memory as I may remember.
Yeah another two years is good. Can't imagine what they'll have available by then. They are already talking about 8 core cpus for later this year. I was actually early this time. I usually upgrade every three years sometimes four. But I really needed to do this.

So far I've put this windows 7 to some major tests and not one BSOD or crash so far. About a week of constant usage as well. I wouldn't touch Vista with a ten foot pole. Even though Windows 7 is based off the same kernal they've pretty much gotten it right this time.

8 core cpu , better wait for 2 years to buy that one yeah when the price has dropped. That win7 sounds good, I have checked some websites too a bit, far better than Vista.
Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.

Yeah 8 cores unbelievable ain't it. The reason they are going that route which I predicted a while ago they would is because they've reached or they are almost about to reach the theoretical speeds of the cpu. Well with the current technology. So there's only two options for them. Either more cores to add horsepower, increase the amount of commands that can be processed per clock cycle, increase bus width.

Yeah pretty much vista in my book can be equated to Windows ME (oh man that was a horrible thing). Vista isn't as bad as that but close. Windows 7 is like what XP is to ME.
