    So much for that idea!

Yeah Biofuels. Turns out they produce as much carbon emission as gasoline with the added benefit of driving up food prices and countries going crazy chopping down their plants including more rain forest devastation to capitalize on this rather new market. The experts also thought that if they used biofuels more plants would be grown thereby absorbing more of the carbon but that don't seem to be happening. Everyone instead is going around chopping everything down the quick easy way. Ah, the best laid plans of mice and men.

You guys need to get more pine forests! They burn great!
Oh, and the delivery costs are low compared to importing oil from the middle east, so I guess you save SOME energy compared to fossil fuels. Also, supply.

I was watching the BBC News last night. If I remember, the EU has come to the conclusion that the law they passed for mandatory biofuels by a certain date was terribly wrong.

Hmmm, that's not really how the news guy made it all sound. He was more scathing than that written report.

Ah watch the video link on the right side that's the report I saw last night.

I have to admit, when the word biofuels came up, I imagined crushing humans into raw materials.

Now there's a thought, but these guys have started the ball rolling......
Scientists at Canadian biofuel group Dynamotive have already turned human sewage into bio-oil, and are looking at ways to scale up the process to commercial quantities.

Either Canadians are very clever, or .........???

You'll probably have to take them to court for your share.

Sorry to hear that though. Just remember he didn't die in vain. He will feed a few people for a few days and that counts for something.
