What are you talking about it did not suck at all. It was amazing!
Meh, I was a little dissapointed because the acting wasn't very believable and I thought that they used too many special effects that didn't quite blend in well, unlike in LOTR. But that's just me.
I know I gotta see it. When I was 8 I read the whole series, and picked it up again 10 years later. I've always loved the books. Of course, as with any other case, the movie isn't as good as the book, but what can you expect when you only got 2 and a half hours? Seeing all those centaurs, minotaurs and such in that darn beautiful computer animation was win though. Can't wait to see this.
I hope 'Voyage of the Dawn Treader' comes out soon
i haven't read the books but i didn't like the first film. santa claus showing up and some sort of weird-ass fine print allowing that lion to come back to life were just some of the things that were too far-fetched for me.

ITT: List all factual impossibilities you've encountered in fairy tales.
Well, a fantasy world with elves and gnomes and hell, even talking beavers, I can accept. but ****ing SANTA CLAUS showing up there is just too ****ing weird. It's an entirely different story. Like how in Peter Pan capt. Hook is linked to Long John Silver. No! Different story, no crossovers for god's sake.
And I don't remember the specifics, but it went kinda like if this exact lion was sacrificed in this exact way, at this exact time, for this exact reason, he'd be allowed to come back to life. What the **** is that.

i think you're reading way to deep into this, its not like its 'DUNE' or anything
Bleh. Just because it's fantasy doesn't mean it can throw all believability out the window. Crossovers are pretty much like breaking the fourth wall in that they destroy any immersion there was.

A metaphor for Jesus if I recall. C.S. Lewis was a writer of Christian literature, often disguised as science fiction or fantasy.
We have a weiner!
Anyone ever read the Screwtape letters? Awesomeness.
