Re: Cops abusing the handicapped
The only way he wouldn't notice is if he, and everyone around him, were blind.
And if he doesn't know enough to get himself checked out when he suspects something may not be right, he's a ****ing retard plain and simple and any consequences are his own fault.
But really, you're sidetracking me with theoretical details.
My point was that this guy didn't get any worse treatment than most "normal" folk do at the hands of the pigs, plus after they tipped him they pretty much left him alone, which doesn't happen often.
But just because he's a quad we're expected, maybe even conditioned to pity him.
Sure, it cracked a couple of his ribs, but I'm willing to bet there have been a few people who've picked up similar injuries from a similar encounter with the fuzz. The fact that it didn't leave him in absolute agony can be nothing but a good thing.
I'm just saying that if it were a choice between being helplessly pushed to the ground under the force of nothing more than gravity and carrying just your own weight, and being just as helplessly thrown to the ground under the force of gravity plus x amount of kinetic energy with one or two cops clinging onto your back, I know which I'd prefer.
Obviously I'd prefer not to be a quad in the first place, but that's not the issue here.
But I guess the fact that I don't instinctively pity this guy like the rest of you seem to do just illustrates my vulcan logic.
Anyway...
I have made my point far too many times in far too much detail, and now I shall take my leave of this thread.
I bid you good day.
