Iceland is frakked?! WTF ?!

I'v been reading some of the old threads around here...in some of them (as well as in some newer threads), most of you seem to belive that Iceland is in the dumpster cause of this crisis thingy...
Just wanted to make my oppinion clear here, Iceland has recovered from The Great Plague, and from The Great Depretion of 1929,it will get passed this "crisis" in a few years...my only regret now is that those ****ing socialists are pushing the country into the UE, like the UE is supposed to be some Heaven... "just say no to indivigiuality, diversity and national pride, embrace the new USE, it's good for ya!"
Gonna be great to see yet a nother national coin turn into history...

..I haven't a great knowlegde of iclandic history therefore thanks for the background...anyway...it sounds a bit epic but please note: united europe = 60 years of peace ...a missing coin is only the smaller evil I think...

As long as the EU remains an economical agreement between states, that will truly help those states that are not very developed, it would be great.
The thing is that it's gonna become a federation, much like the US or Germany...that will only ruin cultures in favor of fake econimical development...also, the way they basicly propagandise the UE as "the new, european identity, wich is much more important then national identity" in schools, this way cutting out any choice of deciding wheather it is a good thing or a bad thing from those kids, is a form of brainwahing...before 2007, there was no mention of "european identity" in schools...since then until I finnished high-school, we were bombarded with this propaganda in history class, social-awerness class and geography class...doesen't sound like a harmless economical thing to me, more like socio-political propaganda...and let's face it, the EU doesen't afect the econimical or social performance of individual states anyway...
So what good is in the EU anyway?

Now Iceland is next, then Norway, then Switzerland, then the british pound, and the danish, sweddish, norwegian and icelandic crowns and the swiss franc will be gone, then who knows what...
