I already forgot where. But it's not a joke. Schools in those countries run much longer, and the government is far more strict about schooling. They don't have breaks or anything. So their high IQ scores come at a price.
What they need to do is select a random population in all the countries, the more people the more trustfull the test, and have 1 test for everybody. better is it not to announce that there is a test coming so people are not prepared for it. That would be a more representative test instead of looking how many times you spend your time on school. Some learn more in a hour than one in a day for example.
    Well here is this.

    Take it as you will.
ah, got the aswer to my question too overthere
Although not a nation, Hong Kong appears on this list. The sovereignty of Hong Kong was returned to China by the United Kingdom in 1997. However, Hong Kong still maintains most of the colonial administrative system and hence appears in many "international" rankings.

      This test is an illusion.
We all know - first place have only Japan.
Second - it's average, random mathematic function or something like (and random artificial tests too!)... So we don't have a real story.
      Third - it's statistics - it's a One Big Lie ;)

      I'm not believe in this.

Still looking for the Boys vs. Girls IQ statistics, I think girls don't score that high as boys in Africa or (south)Asia.

indeed...we have a saying here and I hope for a correct translation: "Do not trust a statistic that you have not faked yourself!" ;)
