You don't know history of old days? It's like I say "All Germans drink beer and eat sausages instead drink and food" but it's stereotype of course ;)
But our national drink is "Honey" or "Kvass", mostly without alcohol. I love both :)

We are "cold" nation (from cold places) and we not "constructed" to alcohol... Very fast degradation we have with that poison. :(
