Youtube Statistics

Now that we have seen the statistic of Getlazy, I want to share with you the statistics of my video's for the last 6 months, and my most viewed video in particular.

I have an averige view of 2000 people a day, mostly men between 35-44
Nice spread views around the world.

If you look at the attention of my most viewed video you see that most viewers skip the first part,
so they don't like Robbie too much and it goes way up when Stephanie shows up.

Nice stats. Interesting to see the hot-spots and skipping. It actually means a large percent have knowledge doing that, and know what they want to see, either the singing or stephanie Columbia and Morocco dosen't make much sense - do they have (faster) Internet connection in these countries at all?

Every graphic statistic has it's own index, don't compare them with eachother if you look at the colors only, it's only showing in what part of the area the most viewers come from. So you see that about 100 viewers came from Morocco in this half year, that's not much compared to almost 9000 for the UK.
Don't know about Colombia, maybe universities or in the cities they have good internet connections.

Yes, Bungie. I don't know about Morocco either, but no matter what you have seen or heard in many TV international programs, COLOMBIA and many other Latinoamerican countries indeed have a good internet connections (maybe not so fast as some European IPS) but is good enough for many internet applications. And that is valid for universities as particular users too (obviously, those people who have IPS contracted). Of course, there are exceptions (as is usual in many others countries, including some of the called first world).

Normally:
- Particular users have bandwidth from 1 to 10MB (downloading) / 1 to 2MB (Uploading)
- Public and private universities: have bandwidth from 2 to 20MB (downloading) / 2 to 5MB (uploading). All that depends on their agreement with their respective IPS)
- Private Companies (related or working with technology activities): Similar or upper than universities (again, that depends on their agreement with their respective IPS)

Greetings.

I wonder what made LT popular in these countries, Latin America, and parts of Africa, which Morocco is. I mean we look different than them; who have brown-yellow skin and figure. Couldn't remember cranium name, but point is nordic look is different from Russians and even peoples living in southern Germany.

The distance to Latin America is huge - like broadcasting Asian childrens television on nordic channels, that would be no success, seeing a mongolian/chinese Sportsman dancing. Some mystery why they broadcast it. Fact is Morocco and most Latin American countries are not verry democratic either. What can be their point of interest? getting a show "almost" free? hidden educational content?

It is probably reasonable. Seem to be much school bullying of younger LT fans, according to a recently watched.

There were many, many answers for this comment that crossed my mind, really, many. Nevertheless, I'll tell you:

1. It's a fact that LT is/was a success among Latinoamerican people (I mean, all the people who has hired cable TV or satellite TV). Why? Because of the same reasons that LT is/was a success in many other countries: it speaks about the basic needs of children (that are universal) and includes funny situations and artistic performances that grown up people can enjoy also (no matter if you live in Asia, Africa, America Latina o Mars).

2. What have to do a more or less democratic system government with LazyTown and its success or not on TV?

3. I could be wrong, but why do you underestimate cultures that you don't know (according to your own words)? Wouldn't it be better give them the doubt benefit while you actually know them?

I understand the basic idea of LT. LTE committed to reflect childrens reality, strengthen their identity and language. Give experiences, stories, and some knowledge.

Less democratic countries seem to include more culture and or religion into their childrens television. Not just typical stuff you see or can do every day. The only cultural I've seen is from School Scam (I think) where the black guy jumped in with a large clown hat, dancing with Stephanie in her track outfit. They also have personal computers and radios, where they can select and watch channels of own choice. In some countries you will get 50 lashes doing such.

Maybe I don't understand their cultures. Benefit of the doubt may be given with caution, I guess ;)

Question: In what country have LT failed?
