I got one in those days (20 years old)...as far as I can remember I payed 2.000 east-Marks for this kind of roofed spark plug...the maximum speed was 120 km/h (ca. 75 mph..downhill and tailwind)...

You would not belive how many people owned Trabants here in Romania, even up until a few years ago, when the EU started forcing us to get rid of cars older then 5 years old.
Veyron is a dream machine both interior and exterior. Love the part where driver must insert special key, and car sinks a bit.
It's difficult to decide color combination for it. Pearl/Polar or Light Gold/Silver, maybe.
What about the new Italia?
Rounded curves and combination of red and black. A part Enzo in it too.
The arc-like transition to the door.
Interior designed by Schumacher. That black skin must smell good a hot summer-day.

Was it your first car?
In East-Germany that time, it was legal to drink-and-drive wasn't it? I mean just stop and take a .5l beer and continue driving.

No...you're confusing with West Germany...in eastern Germany has always been considered the 0.0 blood alcohol limit....
yes...the "Trabant" was my first "car" and after this I got (in the right order) a Lada, Renault, Opel, Hyundai...currently I have no car because I'm annoyed by the traffic and the high cost...
