    HANDEGG THREAD!

    did you know that your average 3 hour game of handegg only has 11 minutes in which the ball is in play

    30% of the total time, or about an hour, is filled with commercials
    60% of the time (74 minutes) when there isn't a commercial on the camera is focused on players standing around huddling, standing at the scrimmage line, or just milling about
    7% of the time the camera is focused on head coaches and referees

    the "macho"-ness of this sport is questionable because more time seems to be spent focusing on man ass than cheerleaders: the study concludes that less than half of football games feature even a single shot of cheerleaders

          I watched the super bowl once...

          and I thought it was gay.
          like really gay, I don't get why Americans like it. it was like, men, wearing shiny blue pants... running for 1 second before they failed,,, and then repeat

          was boring.

                  Handegg ball is about strategy. Eurofag ball is all about running from one end to the other with a round ball no strategy at all.

                      Lol like in Physics class...we said how it doesn't matter what strategy there was because you always end up in the same place, making the displacement zero every time. That problem made so many people feel stupid til they realized there is no strategy to soccer, no complicated math--just common sense.

                          I must say for the record that American Football--er, Handegg, is vastly more enjoyable when you're actually there, in the stands among other fans. I was in marching band in high school and thus went to almost every game, every Friday night. It was actually a lot of fun. :)

                          And maybe it's the American point of view here, but I find football/soccer to be painfully boring. But to be fair, I don't find "Handegg" very interesting on television, either.

                          Like most sports it's probably a lot more entertaining in person. (I recently found that to be the case with baseball, for instance.)
