Has anyone here ever been in any branch of any military?

I'm asking because I figure that I'll need all the advice that I can get before I ship out to U.S. Army Basic Combat Training.

the most important thing is to bugg off as often as you can...and try to get a job in the army kitchen or as a driver...then you are everybodys darling and it's always warm and comfortable...and try to find a strong and trusty friend for any eventuality...

As for the kitchen, I have become interested in the MOS 92G Food Service Specialist, but I may have to wait until that becomes available. I had four jobs to choose from, and that wasn't one of them.

yes I'm one of them..."food service specialist" sounds good...we called it "Küchenschabe" ^^
