    Reasons to Be Happy

Occasionally, I notice that people are unnecessarily grumpy and / or focus too much on the negative.

It's time to find reasons to be happy and focus on them more often.

    What makes you happy?

    Re: Reasons to Be Happy

A lot of things, indeed, and that's important "PrivateBrain", of course. However, I believe that it takes more than those things to achieve "being happy".

I have mentioned before in other forums and among my friends, but I repeat it again here: "being happy" is not (or it shouldn't be) the result of a series of random events that came together for us and makes our lives easier and more enjoyable. That's good, but is not enough.

"Being happy" should be a personal decision, one option is chosen every single day. From this starting point, if the circumstances are good for/with you, cool!. If not, will not matter so much anyways.

Again, it is not easy to do. For me, in my own life, it's one of the hardest things to do and many times I have failed. It requires a lot of nerve, character and discipline but at the end of the day, is worth it, it's for ourselves. Don't you think?

    Greetings,
    H.

I have looked for logical reasons to be happy, but I have found none. Only rational reasons.

That's right, the events aren't random. More often than not, we need to lead ourselves by making the choices that will get us the results that we want.

If there are things we dislike that we can't change, I guess that we'll just have to either accept them or do away with them entirely.

The "Spiced Ham" ;) is gone for now, that's my reason to be happy.

                Re: Reasons to Be Happy

Lately, I've noticed that disrespect that I've received in the past has really gotten in the way of my happiness.

People are going to be rude from time to time. I should quit allowing it to bother me and focus on more joyful things.
