    Goodbye Winamp

I used this little audioplayer for 10 years almost everyday, and will use it for another 15 years probably. Thx winamp you're a true champion to me, I hate to see you go.

Winamp.com and associated web services will no longer be available past December 20, 2013. Additionally, Winamp Media players will no longer be available for download. Please download the latest version before that date. See release notes for latest improvements to this last release.
Thanks for supporting the Winamp community for over 15 years.

I used it years ago, but have not much lately. Sad to see another famous internet institution go the way of oblivion.
Hopefully we will still be able to find older versions that will work for some years yet.
Or even better maybe they will hand the project over to open source developers!

I use Winamp too for the rare moments I play mp3's on my PC...I'm a bit pissed though about the update window which always appears every time I start the programm because I can't get rid of it :? btw...every background in our "teamwork" project is actually a "Winamp Visualization"

I haven't heard about winamp in a long long time. I also used it off and on back in the day.
