Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.

congrats pooks...even though I think you "Flachland-Indianer" should stick with football and hockey ...leider haben unsere sich teilweise selbst in's Knie geschossen, als da wären Fallsucht beim Eiskunstlauf oder bei den nordisch Kombinierten...die Pechstein sollte auch wissen, wann's Zeit ist in Rente zu gehen :?

Is Russia usually in the top 5? I always get a bit suspicious when the host country gets the most medals.

How many other participants were there from other countries? I would not have gone to Sochi, even if I was a shoe-in to win.
Who wants to go to that repressive country?

I shall be watching the winter Paralympics, I learned so much from the Summer Paralympics, looking forward to that happening again.

Yes, for the last 20 years

                Russia 2014 = 1st
                Russia 2010 = 11th
                Russia 2006 = 4th
                Russia 2002 = 5th
                Russia 1998 = 3rd
                Russia 1994 = 1st

Home support, facilities and funding make a big difference.

That's right. They worked so hard for the last 4 years and people expecting them to perform at their best and win medals for their country. It's just a big loss for themselves if they stayed away. The athletes really don't have much influence on the politics. Let the people that actually have influence on the russian politics bring this matter to the attention. Besides that, they need to focus on their sport and not get involved with politics during this period of time, it's pretty stressfull for them already.
