    Internet Censorship in China

The Golden Shield Project, also known as the Great Firewall of China, is the Chinese government's attempt to stifle criticism of them on the Internet. In the process, they also censor many other sites.

It might interest you to know that lazytown.com is blocked in China. So is Get Lazy, both the getlazy.tk domain and the actual forum URL.

So does anyone have any suggestions for unblocking Get Lazy for our Chinese friends?

Because I hate the Chinese government and I would be glad to do anything I can to help undermine them.

Whaaat? LazyTown is blocked in China? What on earth does LazyTown have to do with criticizing the Chinese government :/ Oh well. My parents always say the government in China isn't the greatest, but the people living there are good.

            Huh.

I actually have a silly little story where a WoW gold farmer added loads of people to MSN to advertise and I ended up making friends with her... The point is, she's in Xi'an, China, and we were discussing basically this same thing, and it's ridiculous how much they can't see. To think how much of the internet we've seen, and what hilariously horrible things are out there.
The only good thing is the pun "The Great Firewall of China". Brilliant.

I decided to give this a look to see if people have tried to bypass the firewal and I found this: http://www.lightbluetouchpaper.org/2006 ... -of-china/

My bad, there already is information at the Wiki Article.

Besides the fact that it's all b.s., I find it funny because I've seen sites that try to makes themselves look cool because they were "banned in China", when most anything can be banned in China.

Getting banned in China, isn't that a 'good intarwebs seal of approval'?
