Official Release Date for Halo 3

Not a big fan, but after seeing the new weapons, I am kinda anxious. The reason for not being such a big fan is because I still don't have an XBOX yet. Maybe I'll get the first two for my computer after I finish the stack of games I still need to beat. Plus, I prefer keyboard/mouse over controller any day.

Wow, I didn't think they were going to do it but they did. A few weeks or months back they said they wanted to get it out before GTA4, which is supposed to come out in October. Although this September release isn't a complete guarantee, the game hasn't officially gone gold yet.

If it does come out on this date, then it is a great move on their part. The Toyko Game Show is just a few days before the release date, so it could be an effort to downplay announcements from Microsoft's competitors.

Last I heard, the date was Nov 29....Don't know where I saw this, but now that the dates supposed to be 9/25, anything short of a 2 month delay is still great IMO.

Waste of money IMO, especially since they jacked up the price 30 bucks. I feel sorry for all the Gamestop employees who have to tell the customers "Oh yea, you're being charged an extra 30 bucks for no reason at all, if you don't pay up, you don't get a copy. Oh and also, since you reserved Legendary, your reservation cannot be transfered to a lower grade. Kthxbai!"
Besides, I need that extra 70 bucks to go towards a car payment .
