Ok, perhaps the title is a bit apocalyptic, but anyway.

I think there is a solution to our little spam problem here, any obviously we all have our own ideas of fixing it or what have you.

My idea is this. A new section of GetLazy, totally new and furbished. It would a spam forum, facilitating all the faggotry we have to offer.
It could be rants, spam, image posting, anything. It could be exclusive to certain, spammer members (me for example) or we could all bask in it's degenerate glow.
With rules of course. ;)

This concept revolves around one principle. Post count OFF for that section. Yes, CJ, that's right.
I've seen various other forums with that and I'm sure ours could do the same. If this parameter isn't possible, then maybe this idea isn't either.

I decided to make this thread a poll to see the general spread of opinions, this may or may not be a good idea, so I'll leave that up to you.

My old forum had a place like that. It was called Derisory Substance. I worked out pretty well. They used IPB forums though, so disabling post increases in a certain forum was done easily through a setting. There might be a patch for PHP boards.

I don't think that's possible with the basic phpbb software (I searched the entire documentation and found nothing), but there's a mod here
that would allow you to do it.

phpBB sucks ass and is very lacking in features. vBulletin is very much superior. Faster, better features, less security holes - it's the best forum software available.

And no, I'm not using some free Invision Board license or something. Free Invision is a load of ass.

Like, I have no problem with playing dumb for a couple hours and typing random stuff, but sometimes it's just too much.
