Yep, made it in Imageready...basically manually erased the background for each frame using the eraser tool. You can also use the magnetic lasso tool for well-defined edges or the magic wand tool sometimes. As for positioning, that's not an issue because when I erase the BG, it just goes to transparent and the actual image size remains the same, so I was able to select all those frames and paste it on the new BG (my car.) It took about 3-4 hrs total. I'll post some more in another thread laters.
I just noticed there's a duff frame in your sig.
You might want to do something about that.
But aside from that, 'tis awesome.
Whoops, you're right. How did I miss that? Fixed it...turns out I had a left a layer visible that shouldn't have been, so her hand from that layer showed up.
I'm going to have to make another one soon for my new motorcycle...
but when you have to edit frames, it can take up to 3 to 4 hours
Yeah, tell me about it.
Its all worth it when you see your gif you spent hours on as someones avatar ;)
I found that on clubrsx.com a couple months ago.
3-4 hours?
eeeee =DDD oh it gives me a warm feeling inside knowing my gifs been on a journey over the internets =D I've gone all rosey cheeked =)
And nagh, this gif took me about 30 minutes to make but I can relate as my first delve into gif making took around 2 days to complete. It doesn't bother me though editing gifs frame by frame. I find it rather theraputic, like knitting. Anyone else here like to knit?
