That's OK.. Uhh... because.. You would not be decapitated if your convertible slid under a big-rig. Yeap.

Sounds like somebody didn't do the cooking by the book....

The only pasta I feel competent enough to cook is ramen noodles, and I usually make way too much of that. I have yet to cause the pot to overflow, though.

@M_B: Your avatar's fine, I see it the same as ever.

Shameless TeamSpeak plug time? I think so!

PONYCAT!!! If you like American accents, there's nothing better than TeamSpeak to get your full dose! There are a variety of American accents in there, as we're all from either Wisconsin, New Hampshire, or the south. A good dose of TeamSpeak can definitely do the body good, especially for those who can listen to accented people all day long. Of course, one should ask his/her ISP before engaging in any regular TeamSpeak activity. TeamSpeak has been found to be incredibly habit-forming. You should not join TeamSpeak if you're taking viagra, Pepto Bismol, or MAOI's. TeamSpeak does not work for everybody and in some rare cases has led members to drink excessively.

So talk to your internet service provider today and see if TeamSpeak is right for you. Start living your life as if the Internet was your portal to the real world. TeamSpeak is beckoning...will you answer the call?

(Also, CJ's voice is actually a lot better live.)

Meh... I don't have a mic. At least they make a teamspeak for Linux though, so it would be feasible.

                did someone say... pasta?

Okay so get on the train, I sit in a 3 seater by the window...there are a bunch of other seats open or whatever and this family of 4 comes and 2 of them sit with me and 2 sit next to them in the 2 seater...

Which boggles my mind because they could have easily taken 2 2 seaters and left an open space on the 3 seater with me but no, they had to be jerks....so anyways, this guy gets in and spills his coke all over me pants and shirt....

So I go "what the ****" not even in a threatening way or anything, just by surprise because my head was facing the other way....

So the guy goes "apologize" and I go "excuse me?" and he goes "apologize for cursing in front of my two kids or I'll get the train conductor to kick you off the train"

And I go "well buddy, maybe if you were paying attention to where you were putting your ****ING coke, I would have **** in front of your ****ING children"

At this point the guy is basically in my face and his girl scream "daddy make the stupid boy leave" and I go "yeah, makeme leave daddy" and he was like "come on kida, lets get out of here" and as they were walking away the guy tells me to learn so manners.

I see his daughter is holding a harry potter book in her hand I go "tell your daughter that dumbledore dies on page 606" and immediately this like 13 year old girl bursts into tears and soon after her older looking brother did too the dad was speechless and walked away.

Absolutely! But, dood, I have to ask, what's up with that story? I don't remember anyone in the thread saying that...

Wasn't working for me for a while. As in not showing up. I can't re-upload it because it's too big now, I uploaded it when the forum settings were still screwy.

Well in any case, it shows up, now.

Re: Have you ever cooked TOO MUCH pasta?

OK, so, further research has shown the bag was a 1lb bag of pasta. But the question is, is that pre-cook or post-cook weight?

Yes, but when I cook pasta I always plan on having leftovers for tomorrow.
