Just saw it today. I was pleasantly surprised. The movie would have sucked without the girl though. I really enjoyed the brief but satisfying nudity . Did anyone else see this movie?

yes it is a very good movie, number 2 is good aswell, was a bit upset at nemesis though didnt seem as good as in the games but meh you expect that from films

Urg, well -- I actually hated the new characters they introduced, like Alice. Gah. I would have prefered if movie makers could actually STICK to the damn storyline the games set up and just elaborate on it for the movie. Or, you know, at least keep the same characters? And in #2, Nemesis was super-lame -- He was like a mutant guy controlled by a computer thing, they even did a first-person shot in the movie -- It reminded me of the Terminator, where you see through his eyes and it says to like not kill this specific guy or something.

Yeah, I don't really get along with the RE movies... lol

meh sums it up pretty well but i guess its one of the more successful game to movie adaptations along with tomb raider, which is also pretty meh. I like the way they joint market these films with a shitty band like U2 or slipknot. its like a double whammy for nerds!

I haven't played RE or TR, but I really liked the RE movie better than the TR movies. Also, U2 is great, even Julianna likes it.

I've only played RE2, so I just noticed how the end of the first movie seemed to match with the beginning of that game, but I don't know anything about RE1 the game's storyline. I was a little disappointed that the second movie ended up being more RE3 (Nemesis) than RE2, but oh well.
