I'll have to look into that. Unfortunately, I had $-****ing-70 stolen last week, and I've got my cousin's wedding in Adelaide in October, so it might not be on the cards for a while.

I've got a pair of pretty ****ing sweet cans, and I still can't hear it that much, and when I can it's not really a hiss, more of a buzz.
Chalk that up to spending half of my life standing between a 100w guitar amp, a 300w bass rig and a >3kw PA.

Also, SM58 > SM57

It's, like, one better, isn't it?

lol, I forgot to change the sample rate there. The slo-mo voices are quite hilarious though. It made hearing the high-pitched sound easier to hear until I got rid of most of it.

Muahahaha, thanks to the help file of Cool Edit Pro, I got a potential way to suppress the noise. As near as I can tell, there are 2, the high-pitched sound and the dee-dee-dee sound. 20/20 hindsight, but it seems like something I could have noticed. Find a sample with only the sound you want to get rid of, then apply that to the entire audio file should suppress or get rid of the sound! Anywho, here is a sample for Greatest Hits and Lazy Rockets:

The new samples sound good to me anyway, Dr. Joe.
I can still hear some of the noise very slightly, but not enough that it would be noticeable if I weren't actively listening out for it.
