School closed due to pool

I get a call from my school today telling me that classes are cancelled due to flooding. While I was expecting 2-3 inches of standing water or something, instead I discovered this was happening. The picture is about a half a mile away from my school for the record.

I think I'm safe, we live up on a hill *laughes maniacly at neighbors*

These ones beg the question: are people really this stupid? I mean, your car doesn't just get stuck in the middle of an intersection. Somebody saw three feet of water in thier way and thought to themselves "I can make this" Not only that, 2-3 more people, seeing what clearly happened to the other cars, came to the same conclusion. I mean, I can understand if you had a hummer or something and saw a car stalled in the water you might think you could get through (BAD idea btw) but all the cars are roughly the same size.

Holy crap Fink! Mannnn... I hope you're okay and make it through everything safely. I mean, first the South gets it's butt kicked by the drought, then our California members are getting chased by fires and NOW you're getting flood'd. I'm hoping the best for ya! Actually, a few years back they stopped dredging the mouths of rivers in the area. Ever since then we've had flooding problems.

The snow hasn't been as bad as other years, thanks to Global warming, but we still get blizzards and NorEasterns (It's the next step up from a blizzard lol)

we had floods over here in the UK in summer LMAO sumemr of all times

people are living in caravans and in some extreme cases they wont be back in their houses for 2 years

luckily i wasnt affected at all
