Had I watched the UK originally, I'd probably like theirs better. Just sorta depends what you start with for most things.
You'd like theirs better? Just listen to that Chorus. My ears bleed. Regular show dialog(ue) is fine, but when the puppets have to sing... oh man... you do NOT want that. They're frequently off-key, off beat, or both.
I don't know, maybe LIke I said, if it was the first thing I watched perhaps. Because I started with the US it's hard to ever imagine that though
Neither English version is too bad, thankfully. There are some awesome dubs (Italian, Latin American, German, and Finnish off the top of my head), then there's the bad ones (lol French). But that's a discussion for a different topic...
Anyway, I think it's awesome that most of the puppeteers are also voice actors in the US version.
I seriously need a new sig. Will try Photoshop later.
Could anybody post me Youtubes Vids with the US and UK voices?
At the moment I just saw english videos, but I don't know if they are US and UK and I can't remember ever hearing a difference in the videos.
So I can't tell anything about that. :/
They're both short clips with three of the four altered puppet voices. You'll notice that the puppets' backup vocals during Stephanie's part in the UK version, but they're hardly audible in the US version. Ziggy's lyrics are slightly changed in the UK version too.

The thing is, the US versions are comedy voices (for comedy puppets), and the UK voices are more realistic, so it just depends on your preference.
In terms of speaking, I think I'd have to go UK all the way.
In terms of singing, the UK Pixel really pulls the average of the whole group down, so I'll go for US.
Plus the UK puppets are often too loud in the choruses.
I still prefer UK Stingy's singing to US Stingy's, though (on The Mine Song & I am a Prince especially).
