    Sweet.
    Any chance of an upload?
    Can you be bothered?
Sure, if Stevo doesn't mind. I also have to work on the audio a bit.

Oh, ok. Well, I usually end up offending people without knowing it.

Here's a sample of the picture quality:

        Would this be fine?

That encoding without watching happens to me too sometimes. I get so used to the pattern, that I forget to watch my own encode!

There are still some blended frames here and there in the encodes probably has something to do with the way they broadcast it or something. Here's an example:

If I were to compare, the DVD encodes I did gets rid of about 95% of blended frames whereas these ones are about 85-88%. I haven't uploaded them yet, but here are the episodes that I got from suburbanmum (thanks!):

                  Energy Book
                  Birthday Surpise!
                  LazyTown goes Digitial
                  The Lazy Genie

I'll get to uploading them soon. :)

Higher resolution though, so it evens out.

                        Humans see 24fps as movement.
                        Anything above that is overkill.

                            Have some download links:

suburbanmum's DVD also had the commercial for The Lazy Genie episode, so I encoded that one too just for fun. I kept the commercial at the 25 fps since when I tried to make it 23.976 fps, it made the background twitch every now and again; as a result, you'll see blended frames in the clips they show for the show.

And here are the MD5 checksums for anyone that wants it:

The FPS stuff is interesting. I read some stuff about the Xbox 360 playing at 60 fps progressively and how that gives it smoother animation. Which reminds of certain movies when they capture at a high FPS to get that smooth motion or so they can make a smooth slow motion thing. That makes me wonder how they bring it back down to 24 fps for the DVD releases and keep all the smoothness. I know for the CG stuff they mix in the 30 fps with the 24 fps material. Do they do same thing for that smooth motion stuff?

Pfeh, in video the difference between 25 and 30 fps is virtually impossible to see.
