What a strange and perverted world it would be if the Skirt-to body length ratio had not changed.

Maybe the crew was too innocent to say.

Or they diid it on purpose! :o
Have you seen any vid of Glanni!Solla? Girl couldn't walk without showing off her undies.
    Vids or it didn't happen.

To me it looks like they made them all taller and aged a bit more to make a bit of sense with Stephanie's obvious aging.

I'm inclined to say it just doesn't have the same significance to Icelandic folk, and since most of the crew are Icelandic, it didn't occur to them to go 'hey, Steph shows off her knickers rather a lot, doesn't she?', and since Juli is a dancer, and knows that the piece of clothing showing isn't actually underpants, she wouldn't object either. it wasn't until non-dancers of English-speaking nations got their hands on it people started going 'this is a bit ... odd', and possibly a growing Juli is more conscious of her body, and therefore suggested Steph have more modest clothes.

The new puppets seem to look a lot smoother. I still liked the older ones better. I haven't noticed the puppeteers on screen though.

As far as Stephanie's costumes, the purple leggings look retarded. I think they finally decided to go with a darker pink stocking that just kinda blends in with her panties... Or something.
