It's about your quest in trying to find some Icelandic folks to trade with. How is it going? Is that guy you met interested in doing any trades and stuff. Would it be ok for me to ask you to ask him if he's interested in doing some translation work? Thanks for bearing with my weirdness. :)

Don't know about trades, as he doesn't live in Iceland at the minute, he's in Britain; I asked him if he could have a look for the Icelandic DVDs when he went back there at xmas, but he didn't really have time :( which I can understand. It was Christmas, after all.
He's translated a song from Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ for me; I assume he wouldn't mind doing a few more.

I don't know if you belong to Facebook, but there's a group on there called "Iceland Rules!". It has about 2500 members, so I suppose you could always try asking around on the message boards there. Might be quicker too, rather than having to wait for one guy to do it all.
