I meditate before I go to sleep, the relaxing kind, not the thinking kind. Although it's just similar to what LTGirl does with the white room. You 'guide' yourself to relax and to sleep. I've tried forcing myself to sleep before, but that just made things worse.
Same here nindan. I used to have to daydream a little to fall asleep. I'd just imagine going on some adventure or some story I had heard, and play it out in my head. Kinda like reading a story to a kid before they go to bed XD Now I can fall asleep easily (usually) just because I'm exhausted and I quit the caffeine
I... don't really sleep much anymore. Lately, I just drive myself insane with how much thinking I overthink until my brain is just so exhausted there is no other option but sleep...
