Australian DVD 2 - Zap It! Encodes

These will be encodes for the 2nd Australian DVD. Zap It! is the only widescreen episode not released yet, the rest of the episodes have appeared on the UK DVDs in widescreen. As a result, I will only upload the x264 (.mp4) encodes of the other episodes while Zap It! will have a XviD version available below. If you want the XviD encodes for the rest of the episodes, please feel free to request them below.

    XviD Encodes:
    E17 Zap It!

    Music Clips (2 parts):

UPDATE: I put in the wrong audio track for the Go for it! music clip so I uploaded the 2nd version to the same folder (v2). The file name is: e15_Go_for_it_xvid_v2.rar. The x264 version does have the right one, however.
    x264 Encodes:

    Music Clips (2 parts):

    Extras:
    Subtitles:
    AUDVD2_Subs.rar (46.21 KB)
    http://anonym.to/?http://www.mediafire.com/?li4vkyikibt

    Scans:
    LTAUDVD2_Scans.rar (654.33 KB)
    http://anonym.to/?http://www.mediafire.com/?mz3awf9ugt1
    Video Notes:
The x264 encodes are widescreen anamorphic which means the resolution is 720x480 and on playback it become 853x480. The x264 encodes should also be XBMC and PS3 compatible, maybe Xbox 360 as well, but I don't have that system.

    Download Notes:
Those are the shared folder links I gave above. The episodes usually come in 3 parts (4 parts for the XviD one). If this is your first time downloading like this, you will have to download all 3 parts of an episode (again, 4 for the XviD one) into one folder and extract with WinRAR or RARZilla.

I'll be adding the subs and MD5 checksums soon (Added). Note: Subs work if the filenames are the same up until the file extension. Example: file.avi and file.English.srt would work. If you need help with getting the subs to work, then feel free to ask. :)

I see that there isn't really a demand in encodes recently. As a result, I will no longer be doing episode encodes after one or two more LazyTown DVDs (the latest UK one will be one of the lase). No point in doing something if no one really benefits in it.

EDIT: MD5 checksums below. If you never heard of MD5 checksums before, then no worries. An MD5 checksum is like a fingerprint, except for files. It is a way to find out the file you have is the same file as I do. It is also a way to find out if the file you have is corrupt. If you have any problems playing or extracting the files, then it may be corrupt. This MD5 is a sure-fire way to find out for sure of a corrupted file. My files are fine, but are yours? If you're interested, you can use MD5Summer to check.

EDIT 2: Added Subs and Scans of the DVD Cover and Disc above. [3] Added UltraMagnus' UK audio for Zap It!. 2 ways I know to add them in to the video without re-encoding anything is to use VirtualDubMod (.avi version) and MKVMerge (.mp4). [4] Added Music Clips above and sub notes. [5] Updated with proper Go for it! XviD music clip.

Great encodes, nindanjoe I'll be downloading all of them and trying to finish up that season 1 episode section... Any good copies of Secret Agent Zero out there?

Thanks! Don't worry, I'm working on uploading the requests now.

I'll also be starting a topic about the DVD menus for that LazyTown DVD. I will be giving some samples of them and if there's interest I'll upload the VOBs of the menus along with some recommended methods of making screenshots and stuff.

EDIT: I forgot to say that this DVD along with other LazyTown Australian DVDs can be bought from cdwow.us or the CD WOW! online store. They accept Paypal now so it should be safe to buy stuff. They also give out free $2 vouchers and have $2 off everything sales. All items also have Free Worldwide Shipping. :)

Thanks heaps for these, Dr. Joe.
Could I possibly get an XviD of My Treehouse please?

Also, apart from only having one audio track (I assume), is there a big difference between these versions of Hero for a Day and Laziest Town and the ones you did before, made up of the UK DVD video with the US DVD audio?

On the off-chance that anyone cares, here's the UK track of Zap It! edited to fit with the Aus one so you can stick it on the same vid.
        It's only a 160k/s mp3 because it was a broadcast source.

Although I haven't really mentioned anything about it I have actually enjoyed your encodes. And I do appreciate all the work you do. I'll be sad to see the end of it but if there is really no demand then you are right there isn't much point. Thanks for all the hard work you have put into this.

You're welcome. :) Sure thing, I'll upload the XviD version of My Treehouse. I finally finished uploading all the current requests, so I can upload this one today!

You are quite correct about the Australian DVDs only have one audio track using the US audio track. There doesn't appear to be much difference other than the DVDs. The Australian DVDs are single-layered whereas the UK DVDs are dual-layered. Also the approximate size for each episode on the DVDs are 800-850 MB for the Australian and 1000-1200 MB for the UK. The Australian DVDs also seem to have more video dirt, if that's what it's called, but seems to have less ghost outlines. Like for some of the UK ones somtimes there's a slight lip outline a few pixels below the character's actual lip. You don't really notice it unless you pause it though.

Thanks for putting up the UK audio, I know there are a few other folks that prefer the UK audio. :) I'll add it to the first post.

Thanks! The second benefit of no more encoding episodes will be more time to do other stuff. I have been thinking about it, and I probably just need a break from all this encoding stuff. We'll see what a little time off from encoding will do for me.

Personally, I don't particularly prefer either the UK or US audio over the other, I just like having them both available to switch between.
Thanks for the info about the DVDs, but I was actually asking about your encodes, not the actual DVDs themselves.

You could always make a LazyTown adventure game.
Or you could start making a game and never finish it, like I did.

Oh, I see, senor. There is a minor difference then, the size is smaller since it's only one audio track. I also learned a little more about encoding so these Australian ones use my newer methods. Not sure if it makes them better or not, lol.

lol, I know the feeling. I'm supposed to re-edit all the subtitles I made for the LazyTown related videos and never even finished. Same with my Karaoke and Sing-a-long LazyTown project. All suspended.

This is one of the reasons why I may need to take a break. I get a negative impression from this comment. I sincerely hope that I am wrong, since I try not to see the worst in people; unless it's in real life and a person's body language tells me that they are not very nice, but that's something else entirely. The stress probably is making see things in a negative light, that's what I'm hoping for anyway because that means its something I can change.

Either way, the link is working now. I confused the folders and put the XviD one into the x264 one instead. I'm probably tired from all the uploading. I had to organize way too much and Mediafire was giving problems which did ease out as I did more uploads, oddly enough.

Ilovestephshoes, I am unsure of your native language or origin. But to cover more ground, I'm hoping it was a English as a 2nd language problem. So it's mini-lesson time. "What Gives" [sic] is usually used in an angry tone, as if you're angry at the person you're directing it too or whatever you're angry at. In this case, you could either be angry at me, at Mediafire, or at the situation. As I have learned in the past years, you must use the words that express how you feel in order to not give the wrong impression. Hopefully, this mini-lesson will serve you well. Understanding emotions and people is still taking some time for me, but it is pretty interesting. I still use the wrong words sometimes; but, hey, it's a learning process. Communication is key in order to get what you want. So I thank you for at least mentioning the "No File found."

                      Okay, cool.
If there's not that much of a difference, then I'll just stick with the old ones.

You know how much we all appreciate you doing this stuff, right?
I know it can be defeating when people seem ungrateful, but don't let it get to you.

Thank you. I think I know some of you folks appreciate the encodes, but I'm not doing too much. It's just pirating, lol. Truthfully, it is a bit of work on my end because I care way too much about quality. The main chunk of work is the audio sync. The audio for the PAL DVD releases appear to be off by quite a bit, so I have spend some time trying to get it sync. I really hope they release those HD LazyTown episode so I won't have to bother with the audio sync, lol. Heck, or if Nick Jr. released the widescreen DVDs, then all I (or someone else) would have to do is encode them; but after a few months to let the sales go through first.

I usually try not the negativity get to me, but I do sometimes forget why I'm pirating these episodes. It's to get the widescreen versions out to the public! I completely forgot about that until now. Thanks for helping me remember that. Just like some guy said about game pirates, "They're not our audience."* I'll use that for people that want to be negative about the uploads, yet still download them. You're not in the group I want to be uploading episodes to, Mr. and/or Ms. Negative.

EDIT: I should mention constructive criticism are always welcome. That's not being negative as long as you don't say stuff like, "Your encodes are terrible!" Or if you do say something like that, give a reason why. If you don't give a reason after a few tries, then you're most likely trying to get a 'shock' response. In which case, I will point you to a few websites where you may do that to your hearts content.

About that Nick Jr., they have access to the widescreen episodes! I was watching the Spanish broadcast of LazyTown over here, this episode was in widescreen letterbox format, and the end of the opening sequence with the LazyTown logo had the Nick Jr. flag in it! Those Nick Jr. people are hording the episodes! Or it could just mean LT Ent. gave out that video for distribution and dubbing for the Latin American Spanish region. =P

I am giving Ilovestephshoes to prove me wrong about my initial impression, and I hope I am wrong. I have been burned by Ilovestephshoes before when I helped him/her. I learned a few months ago that whenever that happens, and if one side wants to request something, then something should be traded in return to make things fair. However, that's only if both sides are willing to fix their mistake or to try and continue with the trading. Which brings me to that post I made in the request topic.

Speaking of forgetting, I forgot to post that I updated the first post with links to the Music Clips. They're updated for each XviD and x264 section. Also, I think I'll put the MD5 checksums into a text file and put it in an attachment in the post. That first post is looking way too big!

*I snipped out the rest of that quote. He was referring to game sales. Pirates would probably never have bought the game in the first place, is what the rest of the quote sort of goes. I understand the hypocrisy of me using it to talk about pirating, but feel free to discuss it with me.

Updated first post with the proper Go for it! XviD music clip since the first one had the wrong audio cut. It's in the same folder as the one linked in the first post. The x264 version had the proper one, though.
