Originally posted by merlin55I just noticed your location is in Japan. I'm curious, do you know if LT airs over there at all in Japanese? I've told people, and heard from other places its only aired subtiteled in japanese with english dub. Is this true?
I am almost sure if it's aired somewhere here, they don't have Japanese dubs, though.
I've searched for LazyTown (レイジータウン) results in Japanese search engines for sites in Japanese only, but I only got some sparse results here and there, mainly amazon.co.jp "LazyTown costumes for children" (Sportacus, Stephanie, etc.) which were paralel to the amazon.com resuts anyway. Other results were blogs pointing to some YouTube/Google videos, and a couple of English language schools that were providing the DVDs for kids.
That search was a quick one, so I didn't get too deep examining each link. I'll try to do it when I have some time, and ask some people around to see if they know about it.- Translate

I've always thought Lazytown would be have been a huge huge hit in Japan. With how odd and wacky the show is, it would fit right in with alot of the japanese pop-culture. :)
I figured it would spawn lots of Doujinshis (fan comics) but I guess not. :(- Translate

Yeah, as much as I want LazyTown to be aired in Japan, which means more audience = more ¥ = more episodes = me , I don't really think we need that kind of thing
The little kids would like it a lot, though... I'm pretty sure.- Translate

If I recall correctly, Shinju-chan is working on a LazyTown doujinshi called 'Sports Candy' that takes place when Stephanie is older. She drew some really pretty artwork, but I can't remember where to find it. Anyone know of it?I seriously need a new sig. Will try Photoshop later.- Translate
