I know there was the interview with Stefan's wife where they phoned him and he was driving in a vehicle. That was not related to the Edda Awards though. I have it somewhere but can't get to it right now. Maybe someone can upload it for you soon.

What a freaky coincidence, I was just about ask merlin55 if he had these videos. I no longer have access to the LazyTown Livejournal community, but you guys do, right? You think it's possible to request it there? Before I was banned, I was planning to request those videos, you know, for the fansub/subtitle project. Also, before I was banned, I collected a bunch of links related to these videos. Only one seems to not work, want me to PM you those links? They probably won't have the videos in those links though. I vaguely remember that dreaminganita has the videos too, could one of you folks ask her for the videos? Or point in the right direction as to where I can contact her?

The LJ comm is closed for the (N. Hemisphere) summer. The associated message board is still open, and mostly not locked, albeit not very active. However membership, which is needed to post, is moderated, by Razoth personally as far as I can tell. The link is posted in the comments of the unlocked 'closing' post at the LJ comm.

I found the Stefán Karl phone call to his wife, Steinunn Ólína Þorsteinsdóttir! From that old posting at the LJ comm, agisu linked to a site for the TV show Sirrý and she said it was the November 9th episode, which you can view streaming here: http://skjarinn.is/skjareinn/innlendir_ ... /item1923/ . I was able to get the stream thanks to WM Recorder (very good program, I shall buy it one day). I uploaded the 119MB file to FileFront: http://files.filefront.com/fol_09_11_2005wmv/;7750930;;/fileinfo.html

I'll work on editing it later. I haven't watched the entire video which is about an hour long including commercials, but I have seen that they have footage their home at around 18 minutes; and the phone call takes place around 23:08 and lasts for awhile. The driving clip happens during the phone call around 31:20 to 31:58. I'm guessing the phone call ends around there too. Steinunn appears to be quite famous over in Iceland since her interview takes up most of the show! Here's her IMDB entry: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0960388/ . I have the initial subbing done, now I just need to edit the script. I haven't contacted nv821 yet to help me with the editing; mainly to make sure I don't mess up the meaning of the sentences. merlin55, did you get the chance to download the capture I did when it was up at LiveJournal? No problem. :) Unfortunately I don't know what they're talking about. But Stefán does propose to Steinunn at one point. Although I could only tell because agisu mentioned it at an old LJ post.

If things go well with this little subtitling project, we might get certain portions of this video translated; if things go really well, the entire video might be translated (minus commercials).

Hey, good news! I found another video of Stefán Karl, it's an interview done over the phone in Icelandic because Stefán was in LA at the time.

In Firefox, it didn't work so well for me. It wouldn't jump to the interview for me, but Internet Explorer did allow that.

The cut video is 10:17, 17 seconds over the YouTube time limit. I don't know Icelandic, but the female newsperson does say good bye right before the 10 minute mark. mizz_pink, I can cut it up into 2 pieces if you want me to. Or if anyone else wants me to do that or convert it, I can get that done. :)

Ok, now some info about the video. It's for the news show, Ísland í bítið; or Iceland in the Morning (got that translation from Snorri's website). This segment aired on the 7th of November 2006. The video also has some pictures Stefán that I never seen before. Cool stuff.

For those that go searching stuff on the internet, I was able to find that video thanks to this Google search: http://tinyurl.com/382fyl ; I didn't find any other LazyTown related videos. I was actually looking for the old Magnús and Julianna interview so that I could get the original video, but that site's archive does not go back to 2004. :( Speaking of that, would anyone have the original video? By the way, you can search the entire visir.is site by using this thing in Google search box: site:visir.is. After the .is, put something like scheving and you'll get results with scheving in it (e.g. site:visir.is scheving)

More Icelandic stuff, the LJ folks probably know about this streaming site, but I just began to understand it. I'm talking about this site: http://dagskra.ruv.is/streaming/sjonvarpid/live/ . They do not archive beyond what you see in the calendar, I've tried. =D And agisu did say that in an old LJ post. The show, Kastljós, is the show that had Julianna's interview in English, with host Þórhallur Gunnarsson. Fréttir means news, thanks to InterTran for that.
