Romania was mental, he sounded great when he wasn't singing in falsetto! but presumably the point was to stand out, mission accomplished.

Who knows. I just happened to see a news article about the Eurovision contest and decided to check into it. I don't go out of my way to follow this stuff.

I know Avicii. Nick Romero kind of rings a bell the name that is.

I'm pretty sure I've seen Leno do a similar skit like that before.

Well look at it this way. Who's to blame? The producers or the people who consume that which the producers give to them. It's the consumer. The bollywood stuff is quite epically popular in Indian and abroad. If the consumers had a problem with the skin tone, they wouldn't support it and force the producers to give them what they want see.

Mexico does the same thing. Hell even Magnus by choosing another "light skinned" Stephanie. If people had any problems with it, they'd stop supporting the product.

The bottom line is pointing out or making a reference to skin tone even dropping hints that they only use lighter skin is racist in of itself.

    That is my wisdom.

Just enjoy it. The music is pretty good, in that clip, and the content is quite clever with the bus stop parts right down to the wigglehips :)
