That sounds oddly like the studio version with some concert noises dubbed in. I can't believe that is actually live.

I was thinking the same thing. Most of "live" clips are from those shows like Top of Pops that are most definitely lip sinking the instruments too.

I think that is but that's never stopped anyone from using pre-recorded singing and instruments.
Sometimes it's just the pre-recorded vocals and live instruments.

What I keep looking is at 1:18 when he starts pulling away at the mic when he begins to sing
"Young". In fact, there's no level changes at all when he's away or close to the mic. I noticed
that in those tv music show appearances.

I'd have to do a side by side comparison with the studio track in adobe auditions.

He also does not look like he's sweating, which singers in concert always do, either from moving around, or being under hot spotlights, or stage fright.

                    Yes, why not?

To take one well known example, the English band XTC stopped touring permanently in 1982 due to the singer having a nervous breakdown on stage, despite taking anti-anxiety drugs to help control his stage fright.

weird for singers to be scared of a live performance when they've had more then a month or two to prepare

                        Anxiety doesn't work like that.
