I had watched this the other night. I remember reading about the
Blue led breakthrough back in the day but I didn't know the entire
story behind it. It's amazing what this poor guy went through just
to get it done. Just to get the Blue Led bright enough for use.
And the company went and screwed him. Quite the fascinating historical account.

I consider Lexicon of Love one of the top 10, probably top 5, classic 80's albums. It really is a masterpiece.

Funny you posted Puss'n Boots, I was listening to that in the car the other day. Adam Ant was definitely one of the faces of the New Romantic movement like Duran Duran and ABC.

Yup, ah the 80s. Somehow I ended with Adam Ant in amongst the recommended. I was like oh okay
haven't listened to him in a bit. Think I posted one or two videos in the What are you listening to thread
          back in the fall.

Some more Highland Queen. The side of the bridge he's driving on is now
a pedestrian/Bike/Jogger pathway. No more cars.

It's better then just taking every lyric from a song and changing NOTHING but the singer.

That being siaid, this is the best song I have ever listened to and I will treasure it until the day i DIE.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic. In any case here is the scene from the movie where the Kurgan uses the lyric, at the end. The clip is at an absurdly low volume so you will have to turn your speakers way up to really hear it.

I was being serious about the first comment and the second one was about Joey Ramone's cover of What a Wonderful World. In a way I was kinda being hypocritical but also not because the Ramone cover was rock.

Oh, I did not see that you had posted a youtube link instead of embedding it. I thought you were talking about the song I posted.

One of Jackie Chan's most well recieved movies of the 1980s (The Armour of God) didn't even have a theme song sang by him (at least in the Hong Kong version), but instead co-star Alan Tam.

I don't know of any modern music that has that wonderful acoustic guitar sound of the 1970's especially Crosby Stills & Nash. Maybe it exists but all I hear on the radio is the ever-present autotune crap.

Another great 70's song with a sailing theme...and a surprise twist at the end.

I think I still have the Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young 4 Vinyl live album 4 Way Street. I think it's the only one I ever picked up from them. It's overall good stuff.
