Not sure. If you look on youtube for "komuz music" you will find plenty but none sound like the note plucking they do in that video. I suspect it's like a regular guitar, you can play chords or you can pluck individual notes. It sounded like Otyken was plucking notes and had an electric mic pickup as well.Leave a comment:

I was able to nail down the instrument as the komuz (The instrument can be found in Turkic ethnic groups, from China to Turkey).
That's the instrument being played on the far right in the video. I think that's the instrument you are referring to?
