Good choice...the former probably refers to the famous novel by Stephen King...They tried again and again with songs like "Baby I Love You" or "Rock'n Roll Radio" to adapt a little to the pop mainstream but they still didn't get rich from it...their main source of income were gigs in small clubs (CBGB) or festivals...since I prefer it a bit harder musically, my favorites are more like "Pinhead" or "Havana Affair"...and last but not least "It's A Long Way Back To Germany" because of the lyrics...Deedee grew up as the child of an American soldier with the American forces in Germany...I think the song refers to that.

Yes indeed that was specifically written for the Movie Pet Cemetery. Yeah there's a few more I like.
Didn't wanna clutter up the thread too much hehe. The one you posted is good too.

This old 2000s Congolese band my mom has told me about from her teenage years has really made realize how good Afro-pop from 2000s was.

This is hilarious. I didn't expect to see a 2009 Magnus going 'lelelelelelelelel' in such a high voice he sounds like a little girl today. Boomchickaboomchickaboomchicka.. Maggi coulda been a beatboxer.

Ah yes Lene Lovich, haven't heard her in a long time. That seems like an extended version of Lucky Number.

Another college radio favorite. The ones I posted are originals.
There are extended versions for a few of her songs but they just seem to drag on.

I always like the turntable videos. Need more of 'em
Vinyl always has a better and distinct sound.

Did it? I looked it up just now. Album Liberty 1990. Hmmm, music was shifting at that time.
Grunge was becoming a thing. I wonder if that was their way of shifting their sound as well.

I was incredibly disappointed by Liberty, but I wasn't crazy about Big Thing or Notorious either. The Wedding Album had a lot of great music on it, but it wasn't really what I considered the Duran Duran sound. That came back though eventually. Like on Electric Barbarella on Medazzaland.

I know the feeling. It's like with Led Zeppelin. The album that followed Physical Graffiti
"Prescence" I was like what is this. And then they released "In through the out door".
There are people that like those albums but not me.

Funny enough I was going to post that one but I liked the preview image on the one I posted.
Also thought I'd mix it up a bit and not post produced music videos. But it was more for the preview image.

I watched all Southpark episodes, years ago. Can't remember the song, but combined makes it one of the saddest moments.
Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.
