Australia day is only good when I don’t have to go to school. I hate my school to many idiots at that place and so few real friends.

Although I do hate doing acknowledgment to country for history assignments and if you don’t you get marked down hard (do they really think a middle aged teenager know the acknowledgment of country speech. Well I kind of do because I had to say it to the whole primary school from prep - year 2 because I was the indigenous kid there at that time. But everyone else doesn’t know anything about it)

AOC sucks bad. It's so annoying. Half the time you end up copying the one the school already has.

I look on Today show channel. And the top comments are flat out racist. One of the newer comments have good points to why it shouldn’t be removed.

“What are you talking about mate? The vast majority are British and not Australians. You make absolutely no sense. And you would have to be unhinged not to know that the vast majority are British and not Australians. Display Aboriginal asap. Australia will never ever be united under one British flag. Peter Dutton needs to go back to England if he wants to display the pommy flag. Because this is Australia and I don't want to serve in the ADF under a British flag. I don’t celebrate Australia Day but I keep hearing this on the news.

Woolworths, other grocery stores and pubs are not celebrating Australia Day next year. I believe it’s because they want to pay respect for the Aboriginals families who were killed and taking on that day.

Talking about ABC kids shows,

One of my other favourite Australian kids shows was Dirtgirlworld. It was a weird and well some say “a creepy show”. But I absolutely loved it since it was about gardening and recycling. The songs are pretty good (as they were original to the show). The ABC started to air the show again very recently (you can find all episodes on Iview now too). My earliest memories of the show was whenever it rained outside coming back from Daycare and when I moved house in 2013 (it played some random orange tractor episode)

I don’t know why I remember this 😅
