There's still one major hurdle to all this quantum computer stuff anyway. The temperature.
This technology only operates on the millikelvin temps. Talking approaching absolute zero levels.
The Majorana requires 50 millikelvins above absolute zero.

I was told it's the coldest place in the universe, almost -273 Celsius . Even the universe itself is not that cold, with its -270 Celsius.

Quantum chips have been around for a while, but what matters here is this new Topological Core architecture. Sounds promising.
Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.

Right now even that chip still needs: "Majorana 1 operates at approximately 400 degrees below zero. This extremely low temperature is necessary to maintain the superconducting properties of the materials and ensure the stability of the qubits."

I'm hoping something clicks with all this research and something completely new and unthought of crops up from it.
Something that can operate at room temperature. I wanna be able to play games at least 5000 fps minimum 😄
