Lots of Calypso videos out there. Some have nice crisp pictures but they're not real footage from the time, they're generic sea pictures.

I had some of Jacques Cousteau's books back in the day. Man that feeling when you found out a Cousteau special was coming on TV! Seeing footage of the undersea world. It was amazing.

I was reminded of this song when I heard it while in a New Age store doing a little Christmas shopping this week. At least that is what they used to call those kind of stores. Crystals, incense, books and accessories for doing magick, cool looking clothes and jewelry, Tarot decks, the whole bit. Except music. Back in the 1980's the New Age stores had large music collections to pick from if you wanted to buy a CD.

I thought it was going to be maritime forecasting going by all the ships
in the preview images. Who'd have thought it was going to be a nostalgia hit
with Jacques Cousteau. We always watched those specials when they were on.

Someone is still making videos for the maritime forecasting uploaded 10 months ago
I'm going to assume they are recent recordings since it's not mentioned when those
forecasts are from.
