I started and finished โ€˜Star vs the force of evilโ€™. It was pretty good for the most part especially, season 1 & 2 but not the biggest fan of season 3 & 4. Iโ€™ve seen clips of this show when I was 10 but never watched it until now. Probably going to watch, start to finish of โ€˜Gravity Fallsโ€™ next weekend

Ever since I first saw this show I can't stop thinking about it even years later.

Have been researching RBMK reactors again lately. This reactor was fantastically complicated. I realized the other day there were nearly 2,000 individual pipes running through the reactor core, most with fuel rods and around 200 with control rods. All of them carrying water. Some of operating the reactor consisted of control rod manipulation but a lot of it was pipe and valve and turbine control, feedwater and primary system pumps and emergency cooling pumps and bubbler pools and steam separators and steam powered turbines and water return systems. A very complex hydraulic system. Such a fantastic show. I want to post videos from it, but almost everything would be a spoiler if you didn't know much about the accident and the aftermath. Before watching this show I had no idea how bad it was and the massive effort to try to contain the disaster and clean the area up, which involved 500,000 men.

I have always kept iodine tablets (what you see them taking in that scene) around but after Russia invaded Ukraine I got some new ones and keep them in my bag I bring to work as well as some I always have at home, and made my girlfriend carry them too everywhere. I am never more than a few feet from these.
