I don't have any ads that I personally witnessed that stuck with me, just some funny ones from YouTube. This one's titled "Russian anti-gay commercial," but it's not, it's a pro-democracy commercial. Unfortunately I can't find any background info on it.

That was incredible! I hope the production team won some kind of award for that. Cinematography, character design, thematic tropes, all so well done. Thanks for sharing.

chuft reminds me of this VW commercial. There's an interesting Snopes article behind how the commercial got made and the degree to which it's actually linked to VW.
"Companies often try to obscure the connections between themselves and their viral ads, sometimes claiming that promotions were "unauthorized" or "accidentally released." Though this technique may be effective in generating publicity, it can also backfire: If someone does indeed produce an unauthorized viral ad that creates negative publicity for the business it supposedly promotes, how can a company prove it wasn't behind it? This was the dilemma faced by Volkswagen in 2005 regarding a viral ad seemingly calculated to offend as many human beings as possible."- Translate

Ha the Carmina Burana, otherwise known as "the music they use for trailers when the soundtrack hasn't been composed yet." Also used in the movie Excalibur.l i t t l es t e p h e r s
