Man Gary Numan has a huge catalog of amazing music. He was a big influence on Trent Reznor/Nine Inch Nails if you are into him.

His first big hit in the US (and the last, really). Cars, 1979.

      Here's a remix I like.

From the midst of his "I am pissed at God" period

Sigh, so many amazing songs. I will leave you to explore his catalog.

That band that I found through my local independent radio station dropped another single the other day but I missed it until now. Been listening to it on repeat all morning. I preordered the album on CD.

Also, since we were talking about VNV Nation the other day, they have a new single out within the last month. I like it a lot.

That female vocal reminds me strongly of Natacha Atlas.

Her name's Emy Smith. I sort of hear the similarity after looking her up.

We gunna have a ball today. Tomorrow is Saturday, and Sunday comes afterwards
Okay, those lyrics are pretty bad. Not judging, Possessor. I don't care about lyrics that much - it's more about the beat for me.

It's also funny to see Patrice Wilson driving the car at 2:31. I remember watching a reaction video on him because he shows up in a ton of teenybopper music videos and it's kind of creepy. (In case anyone watches that video, it's not that great but that was my sense of humor in 2015.)

What I remember is that she wrote the lyrics and her rich parents paid for this producer Patrice Wilson to make it to a song, and what I assume a video clip. That's what this producer's business model was, he got paid to make the songs for kids/teens who came up with lyrics, and he ended up in those music videos too. That was what all the negativity was all about and it exploded on this song. I don't know why.
Magnรบs: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.

                  A taste of Natacha Atlas

You may have heard this one before

My favorite. Turn it up, volume level is a little quiet. Her singing near the end is inspired. Like many Gary Numan songs, this one is a slow burn with a climax.

I like that last Natacha Atlas song too.

Chuft's oriental/mystical music always reminds me of:

Madoka Magica is one of the best selling Anime in Japan. It's famous for billing itself as an innocent magical girl show before turning very dark. It has a great soundtrack.

What always manages to confuse me is how people say they like the remix from 2 years ago when in my opinion it's hot garbage.
