It's been a long time since I played the beginning. It's a game you play more or less permanently. I started my main character in 2016 and he's still going and having new stories.

I like the late Victorian/early Edwardian era myself. But few games use it, Arcanum is the only one that comes to mind. Fallen London is not regular London; as you hopefully have realized, it is a very different, very strange setting. London has been moved in its entirety underground by mysterious beings known as the Masters. There's a lot of weird stuff going on - London is now sitting right next to Hell for example (though not the Hell you are familiar with), there is a Lovecraftian Dreamlands-type area called Parabola, there is the Unterzee, filled with monsters, and there are lots and lots of secrets....the setting lore is quite involved and very strange. I don't want to spoil it. But yes I would give it a chance. The writing is top notch. And the setting is very cool. The starting prison, New Newgate, is in a giant stalactite in the roof, hanging over the Unterzee, accessible only by airship.

Simple 80s music. When the sampler was invented at 6:47

That was weird. I kept editing it to change the link to a different video and it kept keeping the old one when I saved.

YouTube keeps showing me these "Achieve inner peace with these facial cleaning methods" tubes showing the most horrible skin conditions I've ever seen.

Man I have a great Battlestar Galactica theme remix from around 2000 but the file got corrupted sitting around on my disk apparently. Not on youtube anymore. Annoying. I may search my backups to see if an uncorrupted version is on there.

The wav version on my backup was corrupted too. Can only play 34 seconds. But I found a mp3 version amazingly. I am attaching it for those who like disco remixes of Battlestar themes. A select crowd to be sure.
