Yeah, aging vocal cords. Age also demises the higher vocal range. He's had other issues through the years.
Doesn't have the range anymore to sing the old songs with the same voice.

Temporary Throat Infection: In January 2025, Sting had to postpone several concerts and a scheduled awards appearance due to a throat infection that prevented him from singing. He later updated fans saying he was "steadily improving"

Vocal Fatigue: Sting has spoken about the toll touring takes on his voice and mentioned that a "fatigued" vocal quality in one of his songs was a result of being in the middle of a tour and "barely able to speak"

Past Vocal Issues: He had previously canceled a concert with Shaggy in 2018 due to health reasons, mentioning at the time that he could "barely speak".
