    Sail 2025 Amsterdam

If you like boats you can watch the webcam van Port of Amsterdam, especially now with Sail 2025. It's so great to be there and see all the ships and boats. It's nice weather too.

SAIL IN 2025 Amsterdam is the flagship event, where majestic sailing ships fill the canals and enchant visitors with their beauty. From 20 to 24 August, the IJ and North Sea Canal area will be full of Tall Ships from all over the world. SAIL 2025 is the 10th edition of SAIL and therefore a jubilee edition. Amsterdam will also celebrate its 750th anniversary.

Incredible video! I can't believe the ferries are running at the beginning and end.

It's like our Fleet Week here which is held in May.

You would have thought it's out of order for the whole day. You need to imagine all the boats and ships go very slow so there was little chance for problems at the start and end.

I didn't know of that event, and if it's the same like this. Probably on a smaller scale.
Sail Amsterdam is held every 5 years (not in 2020 because of covid) and started in the 70s. It's an event where everyone in the world can contribute. Famous boats/ships from all over the world. It's a great and very large happening that takes place 4 days long because of the amount of boats and ships.
