There is nothing wrong with it if you're from Germany. However, it is not the convention in the United States and is usually reserved for those who are intentionally trying to be anti-religious.

I've always associated the expression with America, shows how much I know! lol.
Everyone I know says bless you. We're not religious, it just rolls off the tongue better.

How did we go from soccer to sneezing? Is this the "other stuff" lol.

i thought it was someting like 'prosit' what germans say. we say 'bless you' no matter you're religious or not it's part of the tradition and its almost an insult if you dont say anything
