My Mothers friend had Seahorses, but they would always die practically the next day she brought them home because they need INTENSIVE care.

Not so irritating busy as dogs, and you don't have to go outside when you don't really wanna, walk besides them all the time and always need to drag them where ever you go, not even talking about their barking and biting, dogshit on the grass and most of the time under your shoes when you walk on the grass :? Cats are independent, very social and soft to pet and cuddle

@Pooky: Siamese cat's are not very independent. Much like the Seahorse, needing care, special food, sand-box, and can't stay outside more than five minutes at time. If given wrong food they threw up on the floor what cat do you have?

It's true!
This woman called Charlotte who lives near me couldn't extol the virtues of Siamese Cats enough, purchased 2 and now doesn't stop moaning about them for those exact reasons!

Same with cats ;) In my neighbourhood dogs are not trained at all, people buy a dog to have something to care of or as a defense to burglars. We have a park nearby where all the dogs come together to bark and shit and then they sniffle in that shit, maybe take a bite and lick your face after that (talking about hygiene).

Cats spend a lot of time for their personal hygiene, sometimes they clean themselves for an hour. Now I don't see a dog do the same, you have to wash them, which they don't like.
