So, Selena has released 2 new songs this month to promote her upcoming album When The Sun Goes Down, one is called Bang Bang Bang and the other is a song in Spanish called Dices which is the Spanish version of Who Says. These are my thoughts:
Bang Bang Bang: A great song, it gets stuck in your head, not something I've heard from Selena before. The vocals are also different with those 'yeah' or the 'oh', but it makes her sound good. At first people thought it was a sexual song, but it turned out not to be related to sex at all, it's just a bang bang bang to her old boy.
Dices (Who Says Spanish Version): This is cute, but in my opinion, a weak effort compared to her first Spanish song 'Un Año Sin Ver Llover'. This time, as a native Spanish speaker, the lyrics were difficult to understand well, while when I heard Un Año Sin Ver Llover it was just so natural (even more than Shakira), but it's still nice.
My final opinion is that the new album is sounding just good, hoping to listen to the next single 'Love You Like A Love Song'.
What are you thoughts? Here are links to listen to the songs
Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.
