And that's the same for all kids shows too. Not just LazyTown. When I was smol I watched this one show in the UK dub and I couldn't imagine half the characters having a British accent. Only two characters had their voices retained.

The Mr. Men Show. Funny thing is, the Mr. Men originated in the UK. XD

I just looked it up. I forgot all about that show. It use to show on Cartoon Network for a while here in the US

Yep! That was around the time where I learned about watching TV shows online.

I can agree to that. Not sure where everyone's from but British kid's shows always seem to give the characters the same patronizing super British accent voice and the characters all either have the same personality or 0 personality. Hard to explain by text but man oh man I find it annoying. As Robbie would say DON'T LET YOUR KIDS WATCH IT!

Nah, there's a few good British kid shows. The Tweenies, Fireman Sam (the original), Teletubbies (the original, the reboot irks me), Thomas the Tank Engine (the original, before it went all CGI)...I could go on.

Nah, there's a few good British kid shows. The Tweenies, Fireman Sam (the original), Teletubbies (the original, the reboot irks me), Thomas the Tank Engine (the original, before it went all CGI)...I could go on.

I can see British accents working on those shows. In fact, half of them were part of my childhood! I remember the narrator's voice in Thomas the Tank Engine being very soothing to me. <3

It's the UK dubs I had a problem with.

The original Thomas narrator (Ringo Starr from The Beatles) is the best IMHO.
