This isn't stupid, but anyone in the U.K. who watched or even seen CBeebies between 2008-2012 maybe has definitely heard and saw big and small.

For anyone that has, why is Billie Joe Armstrong in it? What did he do?

Never heard of Big and Small, you learn something new everyday as they say!
Quick search tells me he was "Small" in "the Canadian version" if that means anything to you but don't quote me.
